Chatuta Sewing Centre
Established in 2018, the sewing centre is owned by 28 community members and employs 43 seamstresses.
In 2023, the centre benefited from a second funding phase from Kamoa Copper, allowing them to increase and diversify their production capacity. Today, the sewing centre sells more than 1000 uniforms monthly to Kamoa Copper. In addition, various other products are sold to the schools, hospitals built by Kamoa Copper.
